About

I have been a licensed REALTOR® for over 8 years now and have established a great referral base due to my dedication to provide clients with top-notch service. I have received numerous awards including the award for being the #1 Broker at Prudential Preferred Real Estate in 2006, 2007 & 2008 as well as The Prudential President’s Circle Award for 2008 for placing in the top 3% nationwide. I also hold the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist® Designation - an honor held by only 4% of all Realtors® nationwide.

I enjoy giving back to my profession and have volunteered with the Douglas Elbert Realtor® Association since becoming a Realtor® in 2001. I have served as a Director since 2003 and have raised funds for the Metro Denver Realtor® Foundation’s Tree of Life. I served as the 2007-2008 President for the Douglas Elbert Realtor® Association and now hold the Past President as well as Treasurer office through 2009. I also serve as a Director on the Colorado Realtor® Association Board of Directors.

Aside from work, I like to volunter for such organizations as Habitat for Humanity, Praying Hands Ranch in Elizabeth, the DERA Helping Hands Program, Compassion International and my local church.
For my clients I bring the perspective of an experienced agent who has grown his business over the years and can relate to the issues and needs of home buyers and sellers. My interests lie in building relationships with both my clients and fellow Realtors®. I find it personally rewarding to focus my business on serving people because of the long term friendships and quality of life that result. When asked how I would sum up my role as a Realtor® I would say: my job is to be at my emotional best when my clients are at their emotional limits. Selling and/or buying a home has enough inherent challenges with the stresses of keeping a house in show condition while living there, and those associated with moving in general. It is up to me to maintain a calm positive atmosphere throughout the transaction as my clients look to me as the barometer of how things are progressing. If I keep things professional and positive then my clients will have a great experience and that is my goal. I am constantly focused on education, technology, marketing and negotiation to make sure my skills are top notch to give my clients an edge in the transaction. I also believe in giving back to the Realtor® community; both to thank those who so generously welcomed and helped me when I first entered the profession and to do my part to promote the Realtor® image.
On my personal side, my faith is the cornerstone of my business and personal life, and I count my family and friends as the greatest gift I have and will ever receive. I have a penchant for humor and am not above a good prank or practical joke to liven things up.
